Meet Antoinette and Peek at Our Newborn & Family Photos

4

In June, we welcomed our fourth (and final) biological child. We are elated! Antoinette June is the perfect addition to our family. She tolerates the noise and chaos of the three older siblings and two parents trying to manage life as a family of six.

We are so grateful to have gotten newborn photos taken with Danielle Sara Photography. Of course, I used our Guide to Local Photographers to find our newborn photographer. Danielle’s photos on her Instagram feed and website caught my eye. I love the beauty and simplicty of her work. Danielle has a full-service photography studio with everything anyone would need for newborn photos. She has gobs of wraps and bows and other accessories. Her studio is professional and fun–and reflects Danielle and her work perfectly. Danielle’s Assistant, Amanda, also helps during photo shoots and she is equally amazing. I cannot recommend Danielle Sara Photography enough!

Just the girls.

Daddy got a smile!

Antoinette was awake during a lot of the session and she was fussy and nursing, but Danielle was very patient and fun to hang out with while we waited for her to fall asleep.
Danielle worked hard to make sure each of Antoinette’s fingers were placed perfectly.
No we didn’t go out and purchase a bunch of peonies and place them perfectly everywhere. Danielle was able to edit them in!

Courtney Whittington
Courtney was born and raised in Louisiana where she met her husband (married in 2005). They have moved several times, but finally feel very settled in NW DC after moving back in 2016. She has four energetic kids: Cormac (2010), Evangeline (2013), Solomon (2016), and Antoinette (2019). She thinks motherhood is absolutely wonderful, but is constantly trying to figure out how to manage it all. She spends her days talking Star Wars, playing with legos, doing crafts, having tea parties, and chasing her toddler. Motherhood is wonderful and wild and in 2017 she banded together with other mothers to start DC Area Moms to inspire, learn, and grow together. She loves morning coffee, chocolate, chatting with people since she's an extrovert, a clean house (which is rare these days). She dislikes when her kids don't listen the first time, she abhors littering, and doesn't enjoy shopping.
